  1. Jason,
You could be the “Studs Terkel” of the 21st Century – he certainly was one of the best at illuminating the world around him. You’re both curious people and you ask questions (or have asked on The Jazz Session) that are thoughtful, insightful and often more intelligent than many who get paid big bucks.

An open-ended arts show, with a global scope. The Jazz Session was grea, in that it introduced us to new and up–coming “local” talent – a looj at the international arts scene would be sublime!! 🙂

    ugh…
    read “look sublime”

  4. IMHO, you were on the right track with your “Jazz or Bust” Tour for a less New York-centric interview show. As a jazz musician who tours internationally and has been based in San Francisco for 20 years, I encounter interesting, world class artists everywhere I travel, but for the most part, I only read about and hear interviews with my colleagues who live in or near Park Slope. I share your interest in musicians who live and work in other communities, and I love the idea of you expanding to embrace other creative disciplines.

  5. Hi Jason
I like the idea of an Arts Show in different disciplines as it will give your show more publicity and you can still pop in the one or two jazz interviews here and there, now and again!
